Today, Tuesday July 25, our entire group went on a tour of the Acropolis and other sights in Athens. We had a wonderful guide and we all enjoyed the visit of the Acropolis.

In the afternoon, around 17 of us went on a tour to Corinth, with the same guide, while some of us went to the Acropolis museum in Athens in family/chaperone groups.

In the evening, at 9 pm, we had a closing/sharing circle, starting with the “I am one voice” song

followed by delightful expressions of thanks for chaperones, tour facilitators, and staff.

Christine told us a story

and taught us another Greek dance, and then we moved on to the “cabaret” part of the evening, which included lots of hilarious skits, ending with one by the 8th graders

Tomorrow, Wednesday July 26, the group is leaving the hotel at 8:30 am to be on time for their flight back to California.

I’m signing off as your blogger for a while, because I’m joining family in Europe and won’t be back online until August 7.  Once I’m back in CA I’ll try to organize something online for everyone to share photos of this tour.
